Discovering Mark Pirro Part 5:

Four Years Later

In the past four years, I have remained a loyal Pirro fan. I haven't purchased every single piece of merchandise related to him, due to budget constraints. I did, however, pick up a copy of Nudist Colony of the Dead a few years ago from Amazon.com and I have the new DVD's of Polish Vampire and Queerwolf on order. Most recently, I have begun work on this website. Yeah, I started work on it months ago, but today I finally decided to sit down and finish the beginning essay.

So, what does this all mean? In the grand scheme of things, absolutely nothing. I'm not a "Pirro-phile" who eats, sleeps, and breathes Pirro. I don't see the films of Mark Pirro as the hope and salvation for mankind. I have other things in my life, such as my job, my music, my friends, and my girlfriend.

What I am is simply a fan of these movies. Making this site and telling this story is just a way for me to put something out instead of constantly taking things in. You see, I sometimes spend way too much time reading other people's writings, watching other people's movies, and listening to other people's music. In the meantime, I don't put out anything of my own. Plus, since there are no other Pirro fan sites (at least that I have found) I feel that I am doing something slightly unique.

I guess that's all for this section of the site. Thank you for following me on this medium-sized, slightly boring journey. Don't forget to look at the other areas of the site as they come up. I'll have reviews of movies, my interview with Mark will be up, and I'm going to write essays about the movies just to keep my brain and writing output going. Who knows? Maybe someday I'll get to do another interview with Mark. So, thank you once again and remember to stay on the Mark.

Pirro, that is.
